Our Story...

Kyle and I are both from the Capital Region an hour away from each other most of our lives, I grew up in Saratoga Springs while Kyle grew up in Averill Park. We didnt meet until college at the University of Connecticut through mutual friends. We were friends at first but it quickly became something more and looking back it all feels meant to be. 

After graduating college we both moved to New York City with our friends, and our relationship grew from young love to forever commitment. We moved in together in 2021 and Kyle proposed a year later on the rooftop of our apartment with a surprise engagement party afterwords.

We still live in New York City in that same apartment, but we wanted to have our wedding upstate where we have spent so much time together with our families over the years. We had lunch at The Sagamore a few weeks before getting engaged and knew then that it would make the most beautiful wedding venue, with the breathtaking views of Lake George and we loved that it could host all our guests on-site. 

Our entire wedding weekend felt like a dream, we had beautiful fall weather and felt surrounded by so much love. A touching ceremony followed by the most fun reception with our family and friends. We are so thankful to The Sagamore and all of our vendors for making our wedding better than we could have hoped.

Advice to pass along...  

Try to spend the whole wedding weekend with your partner, it will fly by and it is easy to get pulled into different directions, my favorite part about the wedding was being with Kyle and celebrating our love together, surrounded by our favorite people.

Rehearsal dinner & SUNDAY BRUNCH: The Sagamore Resort

We enjoyed an amazing wedding weekend Upstate with our bridal party and family, starting with a Thursday night dinner (and late night karaoke) in Saratoga Springs, a hike in Lake George before our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Drinks at The Sagamore on Friday, our perfect wedding day, and lastly a Sunday brunch at The Sagamore. It was so special to show our friends around the area we grew up and spend so much time together.
