Cody and I were friends years before becoming High School Sweethearts, I think that's the special part about our relationship. We guided each other through other relationships and high school scenarios, but later found out there wasn't a healthier, better pair than us. He was a country boy with beef cattle, from the far side of town while I moved from East Haddam, CT in the second grade. We had different lifestyles and backgrounds but were each other’s best friend at the end of each day.

When the time for college came along, we had similar interests - we both wanted to study agriculture. Both graduating with dual degrees, he specialized in diesel engineering, and I specialized in Horticulture Production. He landed a job after his internship in Latham (diesel technician) and I stayed to grow the family farm. Today we multi-task between jobs, but recently expanded our production firm with a flower farm!

Our wedding was the most beautiful day, and we are so thankful to all our vendors and family that helped make it a celebration of love to remember.

No matter how busy our days are, we always leave time for each other and when we have time, we continue doing hobbies that built us as a couple - like visiting Lake Placid and hiking in the Adirondacks. One day we'll be 46ers!
