There’s nothing quite like a photo booth. It’s a curiosity magnet, a novelty that invites people of all ages to capture spontaneous fun.
Photo booths are instantly rewarding, and today’s professional-quality photo strips and digital delights are produced within seconds. A casual portrait of the day, the prints find their way onto refrigerator doors, bulletin boards, and desks, becoming a time capsule that triggers a daily walk down memory lane.
With four unique booth options, Outside the Box Photobooth encourages everyone to enjoy the excitement of an engaging, interactive, entertainment experience.
“Even though we have cell phones with cameras, we’re at a time when we really don’t want to have them out all the time. It’s nice to put them down occasionally,” said Christina Primero. Since she launched Outside the Box Photobooth a decade ago, more couples have included photo booths at their special events with each passing year, she said.
Outside of the Box has built up a fleet of booths as unique as your wedding day.
Strike a pose with friends, loved ones, and colleagues in the Digital Booth and text, email, or airdrop the images. Upgrade to the 360-degree Video Photo Booth to capture the action in a vibrantly viewable way.
For a more traditional photo booth experience, hideaway in the mobile Pixel Wagon, a renovated 1974 horse trailer made for romantic interludes. Step into the Legacy Print Booth and soon you’ll be holding a 2”x 6” or 4” x 6” souvenir. For timeless treasured keepsakes, opt for the glamour of a black and white filter, a sophisticated lounge-like portrait studio set-up, and custom 5” x 7” and 6” x 6” prints.
Express yourself by embracing the potential of props with Outside of the Box’s vast collection of backgrounds, hats, glasses, and signs (that are more sophisticated than silly). Available in neutral tones, these props fit into all sorts of color schemes to match your theme. An attendant is on-site to set up, to keep the space tidy, and to navigate the technology for four hours of photo fun.
Confess your love, hopes, and dreams for the couple with a video guestbook, or ride the wave of sentimentality when you speak into a rotary phone to record an audio message.
“When you hear someone’s voice (but don’t see them) a different emotion is stirred up,” said Christina. Capturing emotion is at the core of Christina’s work, whether she’s providing a boutique experience behind the camera, shooting Super 8mm video, or documenting politics as Deputy Director of Media Services at the NYS Senate.
“Surprisingly, photographing for the legislature and for weddings and events, is very similar, I’m still looking for that emotion,” she said. “In politics, there are a lot of big personalities who are very passionate about their work, and I’m documenting that on a daily basis. At weddings, I’m still trying to capture that emotion, but the vibe is different. People are usually very happy and there’s a different level of excitement but in the grand scheme of things, my job is to make people feel relaxed, to be engaging, and to document what unfolds in front of me.”
