Our Story...

Aidan and I met in the winter of 2019.

At the time, I was working full time in the hospital and teaching ski lessons on weekends. Aidan was finishing up his college degree and had taken a ski instructor job at the same mountain where I taught. We bonded quickly over our shared love of skiing and science. Most of our first conversations were on chairlifts and in the ski lodge between lessons.

Somehow, the weather was perfect, and we were able to conduct the entire event from the center of our horse pasture. We had 180 of our favorite people -who interacted with our horses during our cocktail hour. Under a clear-top tent with twinkling lights, we danced the night away, followed by an after-party bon fire. Adam and I spent the night in the "hunt box" which has living quarters above the horse barn. It was everything we ever dreamed of and more!

The Adirondacks quickly became “Our Spot.”

After our first weekend trip we were hooked and kept going back to ski, hike, and explore. What I thought was just a regular weekend trip to Oktoberfest at Whiteface Mountain, September 2023 turned unforgettable. Aidan surprised me by proposing in the ski gondola as we rode up the mountain!

Two years later, in August 2025, we were married in Lake George at Fort William Henry. We spent many weekends there and knew the lake and mountain views felt like home. When we toured the Carriage House, we instantly pictured our celebration there. Our ceremony overlooked Lake George, and the mountains framed the backdrop. We danced the night away in a reception filled with love and laughter surrounded by our family and friends.

It was better than we could have imagined!

The perfect way to begin our next adventure together, rooted in the places that shaped our story from the very start.
